Day 1: Nairobi - Naivasha - Elementaita
Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you will be picked up by your designated Professional Tour Guide-Driver at either Jomo Kenyatta Airport, the Standard Gauge Railway Nairobi Terminanus, or your preferred residential location. The adventure will commence with a journey to Lake Elementaita via the Nairobi-Mai Mahiu-Nakuru Road. Along the way, you will have the chance to make several exciting stops, including the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and the travelers' church. In Naivasha, you'll engage in a delightful boat ride and explore Crescent Island, where you can immerse yourself in the town's vibrant flora and fauna. After this, the next destination will be Sentrim Lodge, nestled at the heart of Lake Elementaita, where you will check in for lunch, enjoy a peaceful afternoon, and spend the night.

Day 2: Lake Elementaita - Lake Nakuru
Begin your day with breakfast by 7:00 AM EAT, followed by a full-day game drive for a full-day game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, complete with picnic lunch boxes. Lake Nakuru National Park is renowned for its enchanting population of both Greater and Lesser Flamingoes which beautify the shores of the lake creating a mesmerizing pink hue. It’s also home to the endangered black rhino and Rothschild Giraffe, not forgetting the southern cross white rhino, cape buffalo, zebras, tree-climbing lions, gazelles, and different bird species among many other wild animals.
Following the morning hours game drive, you’ll have a picnic lunch at the Baboon Cliff viewpoint which offers a spectacular view of Lake Nakuru. After the lunch break, your journey will continue to Makalia Falls renowned as the sole water source inlet Lake Nakuru. You'll then proceed on with the afternoon game drive, before returning to the lodge for dinner and a restful night's sleep.
Day 3: Lake Elementaita - Kitale
Start your day with an early breakfast by 7:30 AM EAT and check out for Kitale via Nakuru-Eldoret-Kitale road with a few convenient restroom stops along the way. Expect to check in for lunch at the Aturukan Hotel in Kitale town. After lunch, you'll embark on a drive to Saiwa National Reserve for a delightful nature walk, birdwatching, and wildlife viewing.
Saiwa Swamp National Park is a forested paradise filled with exotic flowers, trees, and birds. It is also a sanctuary for the rare and endangered semi-aquatic Sitatunga antelope and also home to the elusive De Brazza’s monkey. The park's waterlogged areas teem with birdlife including the lesser jacana, grey heron, and the African black duck while the forest shelters the Narina trogons, the collared and orange-tufted sunbird, the yellow bishop, Hatlaub’s marsh widow bird and the Noisy Ross’s turacos which are difficult to miss. After the short afternoon session, return to the hotel for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 4: Kitale - Kakamega - Kisumu
After breakfast, you’ll commence your day by checking out at 7:30 AM EAT. Your destination is Kakamega Forest National Reserve for birdwatching, nature walks, hiking, rock climbing, wildlife observation, visiting the Isiukhu Falls, and immense yourself in the cultural experience. Kakamega Forest is a precious remnant of the vast rainforest that stretches across Central Africa. This beautiful forest is home to various mammals including bush pigs, giant forest hedgehogs, colobus monkeys, the rare Debrazzar monkeys (one among the oldest monkeys in the world), and pottos. Some of the birds to be seen here include the Blue Headed Bee Eater, Black Billed Turaco, Turner’s Eremomela, and Grey Parrots. Later on, you'll proceed and have lunch at Kakamega Golf Hotel followed by a visit to the Luhyia Traditional Pottery Center. After the experience of the pottery culture and interaction with the locals, you’ll kick off your journey to Sovereign Hotel in the City of Kisumu.

Day 5: Kisumu - Mbita
Commence your day by departing from Kisumu City by 7:30 AM and head to Mbita Mbita via Kisumu-Ramula-Ndigwa road, Along the way, you'll make a brief stop the Kisumu Equator Point, where you’ll get an opportunity to learn about the Coriolis force effect along the equator and capture some memorable photos at the Equator mark, making Kenya in the list of the few countries where the equator crosses. Thereafter, you’ll proceed and check in for lunch at Victoria Sands Lodge.
In the afternoon, you'll go for a game viewing and birdwatching experience at the Ruma National Park before checking in back for dinner and overnight peaceful rest.
Ruma National Park promises undiscovered wildlife treasures and undisturbed peace. It is also Kenya’s last remaining sanctuary for the endangered roan antelope. It is also the only protected area in Kenya where the globally threatened blue swallow, a scarce intra-African migrant, is regularly recorded. They depend upon moist grassland for both feeding and roosting, arrive in Kenya from their breeding grounds in Southern Tanzania around April and depart again in September..

Day 6: Mbita - Mfangano Island
Start your day with a hearty breakfast early in the morning. Your first adventure will be a boat trip to explore the ancient rock art in Mawanga Cave and Kwitone by boat before checking in at Mfangano Island Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, indulge in cycling activities around Mfangano Island, take a leisure walk to immerse yourself in the local culture, fish from the shoreline, and have your own free time in the evening hours before dinner is served and layover.

Day 7: Mbita - Maasai Mara
Enjoy your breakfast and complete your checkout by 7:30 AM EAT. Board a boat back to the mainland Mbita then set off on your expedition to Masai Mara via Mbita-Rongo-Kilgoris road. On your way, you’ll stop to have a spectacular view of a large tea farm plantation located in Nyamira, Kisii, and Kericho Counties before proceeding on with the journey with your safari and checking in for lunch at Mara Engai. After lunch, you’ll have a rest and later have a welcoming evening game drive until 1830 Hours when you’ll be checking back for dinner and layover. During the game drive you’ll be on the lookout for the African Big Five, giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, and different bird species among many other wild animals with the help of your assigned professional tour guide.
Day 8: Maasai Mara
Set out for an early morning game drive by 7:00 AM EAT complete with picnic breakfast. This expedition will provide you with a splendid opportunity to have a mesmerizing sunrise over the picturesque Savannah grasslands. Be on the lookout to spot more wildlife nature and visit the Mara River which is the main source of life in the Mara ecosystem. Along the banks of the river, you’ll be able to spot a large number of the Nile crocodiles and hippopotamuses that make the Mara River to be termed the most hazardous river in the world.
During the Great Wildebeest migration season, you may be fortunate enough to witness a vast procession of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River from Tanzania's Serengeti National Park to the Mara Triangle or the greater Mara in search of greener pastures. Later in the day, return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon rest.
In the evening, you'll pay a visit to the Maasai Villages for cultural immersion where you'll interact, learn, and experience the Maasai culture then return to the lodge for a delightful dinner and a peaceful night's rest.
Day 9: Maasai Mara
Start your day with breakfast by 7:00 AM and embark on a full-day game drive. This extended adventure provides ample opportunity to spot a wide range of wildlife animals, visit the border between Maasai Mara National Reserve and Serengeti National Reserve, enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, or experience more wildebeest migration during the migration period between the months of July to September.
After an exhilarating full-day game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for some well-deserved relaxation followed by dinner, dinner and a restful night's sleep.
Maasai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast, you’ll check out of the lodge by 7:30 AM EAT. Your journey will lead you back to Nairobi via the Narok-Mai mahiu-Nairobi road. Along the way, we'll make few several stops for health breaks and the opportunity to visit the gift shops to grab something for your loved ones back home or have some bites before driving on to Nairobi at your preferred destination. This will mark the end of your wonderful Adventure in Kenya.
