This is an adventure to naturalize with the only two remaining and critically endangered Northern white Rhinoceroses among other Rhinos as well as Chimpanzees. You may also encounter the other African Big 4 (Lions, Elephants, Leopards, and Buffalos), other wild cats, Giraffes, Zebras, different species of common and rare birds, and endemic animals like the mountain Bongo.

Day 1: Nairobi - Nanyuki

You'll be picked up by 0700 Hrs EAT at the Airport, SGR Nairobi Terminus, or your place of residence and head to Nanyuki via the Nairobi-Nyeri Highway. During the drive, you'll encounter different beautiful sceneries of vegetation and physical features like Mt Kenya with short stops at Nanyuki Equator point and preferred Curio shops for health breaks. At the Equator point, you’ll get to learn about the water Coriolis effect, and have photos before proceeding to check in for lunch and a short afternoon rest at Sweetwaters Serena Camp. Later on, you’ll have your first evening game drive to get to the spot and learn about the Ol Pejeta wildlife ecosystem with the help of a professional tour guide. After this short drive, you’ll drive back to the camp for dinner and a sleepover.

Day 2: Nanyuki

Have an early morning game drive from 0600 – 0900 Hrs where you’ll again be on the lookout for more wildlife species and birds as most wild animals tend to be more active in the wee morning hours. You’ll then head back for breakfast and a short rest before heading for a visit to the Chimpanzee Center at 1100 Hrs and check back for lunch and afternoon rest. Later in the evening, you’ll visit the Morani wing to see Baraka, the blind Rhino, and ride with the only two remaining Northern cross-white Rhinos. After these activities, you’ll continue with the en-route game drive and visit the Rhino graveyard before checking back to the camp for dinner and a sleepover.

Ol Pejeta is a private Conservancy renowned for its effortless conversation of the endangered black and white Rhinos and Chimpanzees. It was established in 1940 as a ranch and later turned into a Rhino Sanctuary back in the 1960s when poaching in Kenya took a serious toll on the wildlife population.

Day 3: Mount Kenya

Have breakfast and check out by 0900 Hrs with a short en-route game drive to Fairmont Mt Kenya Safari Club in the same locality and a few minutes away from Ol Pejeta. You'll check in to the hotel and into your rooms before embarking on a visit to the Fairmont Mt. Kenya Safari Club animal orphanage where you'll see neglected, injured, or frightened wild animals such as Tortoises, Warthog, Wild Pig, the Carcal cat, bongo, llama, white and black Columbus. You'll then head back for lunch and later in the afternoon have a walking excursion in the conservancy and also get to spot a few animals which included the Burchell Zebra, White or Golden Zebra, Grevey's Zebra and water bucks as well as the endangered mountain bongo. At the end of this, you'll be back for dinner and a sleepover.

Day 4: Mount Kenya - Nairobi

Have breakfast, check out by 8:30 AM EAT, and head to Nairobi City through the Thingira Cultural Village. Here you’ll get an opportunity to engage and interact with the locals who’ll enlighten you about the cultural values and beliefs of their community and their surrounding neighbors who form the Eastern Bantu Community. Later, proceed to Nairobi and be dropped at the Airport, place of residence, or your preferred destination within Nairobi. This marks the end of the Safari/ journey.
