After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport in Nairobi for your scheduled Safarilink flight to Samburu.
Upon arrival, meet our representative and transfer to Soroi Larsens Camp, set in the beautiful Samburu wilderness.
After settling into camp and enjoying lunch, head out for your first afternoon game drive. Samburu offers a very different safari experience from the Mara, with rugged landscapes and wildlife adapted to the northern Kenyan environment.
Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions and, with luck, some of Samburu's special northern species.

After an early breakfast, your transfer takes you to the KWS floating jetty in Shimoni, arriving at approximately 8:30 AM.
Board a traditional Arabian-style dhow and receive a welcome from the crew, with Kenyan tea or coffee and biscuits served onboard.
Cruise through the beautiful waters towards Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park, keeping watch for dolphins along the way.
Enjoy guided snorkelling in the protected marine waters, where you can discover colourful coral reefs and tropical fish. Depending on sea conditions, you will visit two snorkelling locations or enjoy extended time in the water.
Continue to Wasini Island for a delicious seafood lunch featuring fresh crab and fish, with chicken and vegetarian options available.
After lunch, relax in the peaceful island surroundings before returning by dhow across the Wasini Channel to Shimoni.
There may also be an opportunity for a short forest walk depending on the tides. A visit to the Shimoni Slave Caves Community Project can also be included as part of the experience.
Return to Diani at approximately 5:30–6:00 PM, depending on your hotel location and sea/tide conditions.
