Day1
Nairobi → Amboseli

Nairobi – Amboseli | Kilimanjaro & Elephants (Approx. 4 Hours)

Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel towards Amboseli National Park.

Arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge for lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the park's open plains and wetlands, keeping watch for its famous elephant herds, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and giraffes. When the skies are clear, enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the savannah. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Enjoy a full day exploring Amboseli National Park.

Start with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and the light is ideal for photography. Explore different areas of the park, including the wetlands and open grasslands. Look out for large elephant herds, predators and plains game. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or return to the lodge for lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive. End the day with another opportunity to enjoy the magnificent Kilimanjaro backdrop, weather permitting.

Amboseli

Amboseli – Tarangire | Kenya to Tanzania (Approx. 6 Hours)

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel towards the Kenya–Tanzania border.

Complete the border formalities before continuing towards Tarangire National Park. Arrive at Tarangire Sopa Lodge for lunch and some time to settle in. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive through Tarangire, famous for its large elephant population, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and numerous bird species. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner.

Serengeti

Tarangire – Serengeti | Into the Endless Plains (Approx. 6 Hours)

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park before breakfast.

Continue towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, travelling through the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way before entering the Serengeti ecosystem. As you approach the plains, begin looking out for wildlife. Depending on the season, you may encounter large concentrations of wildebeest, zebra and other plains game. Arrive at Embalakai Serengeti Camp in the evening and settle into your tented accommodation.

Your guide will follow current wildlife movements and select areas offering the best opportunities for sightings. Search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. During migration season, the safari can be positioned around the current location of the herds, with opportunities to witness dramatic predator activity and large gatherings of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to Embalakai Serengeti Camp in the evening.

Serengeti → Ngorongoro

Serengeti – Karatu | Final Serengeti Safari (Approx. 5 Hours)

Return for breakfast before continuing towards the Karatu highlands. Arrive at Marera Valley Lodge, surrounded by lush highland scenery. Enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge or exploring the surrounding area. The location also makes Marera Valley Lodge an excellent base for travellers wishing to extend their safari to Ngorongoro Crater.
