The journey is designed to reduce long road journeys where possible, with a direct flight from the Masai Mara to Amboseli, giving you more time to enjoy the safari and less time travelling.

Nairobi → Samburu

Nairobi – Samburu | Drive to Kenya's Northern Wilderness

After breakfast, transfer by road towards Samburu reserve and transfer to Ashnil Samburu Camp, located along the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Enjoy lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve.

Explore the rugged northern landscapes in search of elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes and Samburu's special wildlife, including Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and Somali ostrich.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner.

Enjoy a full day exploring the spectacular Samburu National Reserve.

Set out early with your safari guide when wildlife activity is at its best. Follow the Ewaso Nyiro River and explore the reserve's open plains and rugged terrain.

Spend the day searching for elephants, big cats, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and the unique northern species that make Samburu special.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Samburu

Samburu – Ol Pejeta | Wildlife Conservation Experience

After breakfast, depart Samburu and travel towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Arrive at Maisha Sweetwaters Camp for lunch before your afternoon wildlife experience.

Ol Pejeta is one of Kenya's most important conservation areas and offers excellent opportunities to see black and white rhinos, alongside elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes and other wildlife.

Depending on timing and availability, you may also visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Return to camp for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta and travel towards Lake Nakuru National Park.
Enjoy the scenic journey through Kenya's Great Rift Valley before arriving at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive around the park.

Lake Nakuru is renowned for its rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, buffaloes and diverse birdlife, while the surrounding escarpments provide spectacular scenery.
Return to the lodge in the evening.

Masai Mara

Masai Mara | Full-Day Big Five Safari

Today is dedicated entirely to the Masai Mara.

Set out early for a full-day game drive across the reserve. Your guide will follow current wildlife movements and select the best areas for viewing and photography.

Search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and large herds of wildebeest.

During the migration season, your guide can also monitor the Mara River and surrounding areas depending on the movement of the herds.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing your afternoon safari.

Return to PrideInn Mara for your final night.

Upon arrival in Amboseli, meet your guide and transfer to Kibo Safari Camp.

Enjoy a full day exploring Amboseli National Park.

Set out early for the best wildlife viewing and photography opportunities. The park is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, many of which can be seen moving through the wetlands and open plains.

Continue exploring different areas of the park in search of lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and abundant birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or return to camp for lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive.

End the day with another spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro, weather permitting.
